Exhibited at Chicago Galleries, reproduced in Chicago Daily Tribune, compared to works by Thomas Gainsborough (1727-1788) by director of Chicago Galleries, exhibited at University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2013.  The sitter is the artists’ wife, Friedl and the dog was Skippy, their family pet.
