The Sir Walter Raleigh and Queen Elizabeth cloak scene mural hung high above the Raleigh Hotel registration office for decades. Part of the Albert Pick Hotels Corporation chain.
The mural is on permanent loan from Historic Waco to the Taylor Museum of Waco and McLennan County
Here it is on exhibit high on the back wall:
A great effort was undertaken from 1985 to 1991 to salvage, conserve and exhibit this “priceless” mural (see attached articles).
