This Cleopatra mural study Watercolor was commissioned for the Hotel Lafontaine in Huntington, IN in 1926. It is one of eight panels for the Egyptian themed exotic pool location that was part of the hotel. The structure today is a senior housing facility. A pamphlet showing all eight panels advertising the Egyptian Pool can be found in Grell’s artist file at the Art Institute of Chicago.
